Yea, Though I Surf
My favorite piece to date and the one I spent the most time on. This 10’ SUP blank has over 350 hours into it. Each tenacle was carved and suction cups shaped, added and detailed. I love how the octopus turned out as a whole but I am probably most in love with the shipwreck at the bottom. My own faith journey inspired this whole layout as I had fun incorporating small hints all over the board from a well known Bible passage. This is an impressive piece to stand next to as it comes with it’s own floor stand but if you want this hanging on your wall, make sure you’ve got high ceilings.
